Konstantina Georgila receives a M. Manassaki Bequest Fellowship
Konstantina Georgila, a PhD student in the Eliopoulos’ lab, receives a
"M. Manassaki Bequest Fellowship" for Basic Doctoral Research.
The University of Crete awards every year 20 honorary 'Maria Michail
Manassaki Bequest Fellowships', 10 of which are awarded to post-graduate
students of the Medical School who have excelled in their studies.
Fellowships are competitive and are awarded following application of CV
with summary of achievements and interview by a panel of Medical School
faculty. Konstantina has been awarded the ‘M. Manassaki Bequest
Fellowship’ for the academic year 2014-2015 to continue her work on
autophagy.
